ABOUT
LANCASHIRE HEELER

The Lancashire Heeler is superb both as a working dog and as a family dog. It is small, strong and robust, and is used today for everything from obedience to chanterelle searches.

The Heeler is a funny and extremely faithful breed, which British farmers liked to use as cow herders.

TRAINING

It's eagerness and interest in "brain training" makes it great for obedience, rally obedience, track, field search, rounding, heelwork, freestyle, agility, etc.

WORKING HEELER

The Lancashire Heeler is a good working dog. Some individuals work actively in herding cattle and sheep. There are some who work with nose jobs, such as bed bug dogs.

EXHIBITION

The Lancashire Heeler is temporarily approved in the FCI, with breed number 360. They compete in class 1: Herding dogs.

WALKIES

It is also nice as a company dog, but since it was originally bred to work, it would like to have tasks in addition to walks.
